Iberá Wetlands, Iguazú Falls & the Northwest Traditions. 

Day 1: Buenos Aires; arrival and tour around La Boca, San Telmo, Recoleta Cemetery and Plaza de Mayo.
Reception at Ezeiza International Airport (Ministro Pistarini) and transfer to your hotel.
Visit the City of Buenos Aires to discover the most picturesque and traditional neighborhoods, the traces of immigration, the history of tango and folklore, the cattle culture, the football passion and more. Among the many places to visit, the tour includes the traditional Plaza de Mayo and its surroundings that witnessed the founding of Buenos Aires; the neighborhoods of San Telmo and La Boca, with its famous Caminito street. Tour continues along Recoleta and Retiro.

Day 2: From Buenos Aires to Iberá Wetlands. All Inclusive program at Rincon del Socorro ranch.
Transfer to Buenos Aires domestic airport (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery). Reception at Posadas’s airport and transfer to Rincon del Socorro ranch at Iberá Wetlands.
In the afternoon, introduction lecture about Iberá wetlands & guided walk around the ranch and de las Garzas lagoon. Dinner included 

Day 3: Esteros del Ibera. All Inclusive program at Rincon del Socorro ranch.
Activities begin early in the morning at Rincón del Socorro: we start with a visit to the reserve either walking or horse-back riding, we then dive deeper into the wetlands on a boat ride, sailing up and down the many streams that lead to the Laguna Iberá.
After sunset, we take into a nocturnal safari drive on our 4WD vehicles on the lookout for the typical wildlife activity of the wetlands.

Day 4: Esteros del Ibera. All Inclusive program at Rincon del Socorro ranch.

Day 5: From Iberá wetlands to Iguazú. Get to know one of the New 7 Nature Wonders of the World. 
Land transfer in private to your hotel located in Puerto Iguazú. 

Day 6: Iguazú Falls Argentine side & The great Adventure.
Visit one of the most beautiful places in the planet! The spectacular Iguazú Falls. Begin with a quiet journey through the jungle in the picturesque Ecological train, and visit the famous Garganta del Diablo (Devil´s throat). Travel through a long walkway until reaching the viewpoint of the gorge which offers a unique and unforgettable scene. Afterwards, visit of both the upper and lower walkways, to enjoy and live the waterfalls. 
Enjoy as well The Great Adventure that includes a truck ride through the jungle and a navigation that will take you very close to the waterfalls. Prepare yourself to get wet! 

Day 7: Iguazú Falls Brazilian side & Das Aves Park.
Half day tour to Iguazú falls on the Brazilian side. Even most of the waterfalls are on the Argentine side, great panoramic views are seen from the Brazilian side. 
Afterwards, visit to Das Aves Park, a place to see colorful tropical birds. They are shown in large cubicles/nurseries, many of them open, allowing visitors to enter and experience closely how these birds live. 
Besides the variety of birds, other animals of the region can be seen such anacondas, boas, alligators, marmosets and different butterflies that awakes the wonder and curiosity of visitors. 

Day 8: From Iguazú to Salta. From the Waterfalls to the Colorful Mountains of the Northwest.  
Transfer to Puerto Iguazú airport. Reception at Salta airport and transfer to your hotel. 

Day 9: From Salta to Purmamarca by San Antonio de los Cobres, Route 40 & Big Salt Lakes.
The journey begins by travelling the path parallel to the railway of the famous Tren de las Nubes (Train to the Clouds), through the Quebrada del Toro, climbing up to 4,000 meters (13,000 ft.) above mean sea level, to reach San Antonio de los Cobres, a beautiful town frozen in time. It continues to route 40 reaching the Salinas Grandes, precise border between Salta and Jujuy. Descend down the Cuesta de Lipán, where you can generally catch a sight of condors, to arrive to the town of Purmamarca and its Cerro de los Siete Colores (Seven Color Mountain). Night to be spend in this charming town of the Quebrada.

Day 10: From Purmamarca to Iruya. 
The journey begins from Purmamarca to travel around the Humahuaca gorge, declared Heritage of Humanity. The landscape and the colors of the mountains blend with the local people and the north culture. Visits included: Tilcara, the Tropic of Capricorn, and Humahuaca.
Journey continues to the small town of Iruya where the night will be spent.

Day 11: From Iruya to Salta.
Fee Morning to enjoy Iruya. In the afternoon transfer back to your hotel in the city of Salta.

Day 12: Day tour to Cafayate wine area.
We head to the Calchaquíes Valley passing through an area where tobacco, cotton, sugar cane and fruit trees are grown. Travel along the banks of Río de las Conchas where different geographical shapes in the mountains can be admired due to the erosion of time; its origins date from over sixty million years. The landscape you will see is the result of the dryness of the environment. Moving forward you will be able to see extensions of vineyards. Sign you are getting close to the area of Cafayate where the Torrontés wine is made; this wine is known worldwide for its excellent quality. Visit to a winery to see the process of the wine and taste the varieties they have to offer. Return to Salta.  

Day 13: From Salta to Buenos Aires.
Transfer to Salta airport. Reception at Buenos Aires domestic airport (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery) and transfer to your hotel.

Day 14: Buenos Aires. Day at Leisure.
Day at Leisure to stroll around Buenos Aires on your own. Don´t miss the Colón Theater, Tortoni Café and the trendy Palermo Soho.
We do suggest adding some of the following Optional tours prior to your arrival:
* Navigate the Tigre Delta in the outskirts of the city; discover the people and its peculiar way of living among channels and rivers. A unique ecosystem just 30 minutes away from downtown. This was the area chosen by the aristocratic families for their summer holidays by the end of XIX century.

Day 15: Buenos Aires. Day at Leisure.
We do suggest adding some of the following Optional tours prior to your arrival:
* Enjoy an Estancia or a country day. Get to know The Pampas, gauchos’ horseback riding skills, folkloric dances and enjoy a typical argentine barbecue. 
* Dinner and Tango Show. A visit to Buenos Aires will only be complete if it includes a Tango evening. From international shows to smaller and more traditional milongas, don´t hesitate to indicate your preference to include a tango night.

Day 16: Buenos Aires. End of your journey.   
Departure transfer to Buenos Aires International airport (Ministro Pistarini) to take your flight back home.
The trip around Argentina has ended, but you are left with the best memories of this unforgettable journey.
