Depending on the time of the year of your trip you will be able to ride the Train to the Clouds or visit the place by roud, with a 4X4 vehicle. Thed tarin to the Cluds was built in the begginig of the 20^{thand it was a highly developed engineering construction by the time it was produced.} century   We begin the trip in the City of Salta, going through the Lerma Valley. We will cross Campo Quijano and begin exploring the Quebrada del Toro, to finally arrive at the Puna. If instead of taking the train, we take the road, we will be able to appreciate the trails of the train and to observe the altitude that it gains (3000 meters of altitude in less than 200 kilometers). At the same time we will see the zig zag of the train, the numerous bridges and tunnels that it crosses. The ride with the train finalizes in the small town of San Antonio de Areco, after going through the “Viaducto La Polvorilla”. During the trip you can feel a typical nausea caused by the altitude you reach during a short time. The feeling is named by the locals as apunamiento. If you take the road, the trip goes on after San Antonio de Areco visiting also the Salinas Grandes, an extension of white terrain formed by salt.

Salta Today you will leave Salta city to visit the Calchaquíes Valleys, visiting in first place the Lerma´s Valley.  We will travel along the river (Rio de las Conchas) and we will enjoy different geographic formations in the mountain, produced by the erosion along the years, wich begun more that 60 million years ago. These forms have different names that identify them, such as Devils Gorge, and Amphitheatre. We will continue our trip towards the geographic limit with Tucuman Province to visit the small town of Cafayate and its surrounding areas where excellent vineyards are located, producing the torrontes type of wine. We will stop at one of the wineries and will be introduced to the production of wine and also we will be lucky to taste some of it.
